SUNDAY MESSAGE SERIES:
"YOU DON'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES"
Trying to juggle everything life throws at you can feel like a three-ring circus. No matter how hard you try, you’ll never be able to handle it on your own. Bet you didn’t know that was a good thing!
June 28 You Will Never Be Good Enough
July 5 You Can’t Please Everyone
July 12 You Can’t Handle It All
July 19 You Can’t Control the Future
Join us for worship, Sunday. 10:30am
Construction Update
Next week is a good time to ‘sidewalk supervise’ the building progress. The parking lot is being built, masonry walls of the sanctuary will begin Monday, curbs will be going in, we may even see roof trusses on part of the building. Please remember to pray for our building committee as they help shepherd this enormous project. SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, July 12, after our morning service we will go out to the building site and set the cornerstone. We will pray, worship, and commit the building to the Lord. Everybody can participate. We will have more info soon. |
Attention Ladies!
If interested, a group of us are meeting (with children) at a local park on Thursdays around noon to enjoy each other's company and if you'd like a picnic lunch (bring your own). We will meet at the playground/park area behind the Canton Fire Station off of Canton Center Rd. We'd love for you to join us. No RSVP necessary. Just come if you can! |
Women's Small Summer Bible Study
Tuesdays, July 7-August 11, 7-8:30pm
Summer Women’s Small Group will meet at Sharon Turner’s home in Canton. Feel free to come for any or all sessions. Each week is a stand alone study. Contact Michelle Ramey with any questions. 734-658-5661, mramey10@gmail.com. |
Kidmo
IT’S BACK!
We are beginning our Summer KIDMO programs for kids K-5. It’s a high energy program that uses state-of-the-art technology to tell the message of truth in God’s word. Each week the kids will see a teaching video that features Johnny Rogers as he delivers his innovative Bible-based lessons with fun, fast paced humor! The kids will review what they have learned during KWIZMO! They will also have some awesome worship time with music that's fun and infectious! During MEMORY MAX the kids will review their Bible memory verse for the day. Finally the kids will break down into small groups where they will answer simple questions that help them apply God's Word into their everyday lives. |
Habitat for Humanity
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Our coalition of churches has nearly finished the re-hab of the first house and is nicely started on the second (which is a bigger job.) Friendship Church’s next focus date is Tuesday, July 7, 8am – 4pm. We need 10 volunteers and also help with lunch. We have also been asked to provide lunch for corporate partners who will be working on the site on July 24. Reply to Mike Norton to help with any of the habitat needs. The address of the current re-hab is 1226 S. Congress St, Ypsilanti. Our pledge to the project includes $1000. If you’d like to help fulfill our financial pledge, just mark your check memo "Habitat" and put in the offering any Sunday. There are lots of pictures of the two re-hab projects at www.goodnewshouse.org. |

Ministry Stickers Needed
Remember to ask for your Ministry Builder Stickers when you make a purchase at Family Christian Stores. Then remember to turn them into the registration table in Promiseland. Each sticker helps to purchase curriculum and supplies for Promiseland. |
