Life Groups – Getting Connected at Friendship Church
A word that you will often hear around Friendship is the word, “community”.  Community is intentionally doing life with others in a meaningful and fulfilling way.  We place a high value on community and spiritual growth.  It is our heart and vision that no one stands alone in their spiritual journey.

Why should I get involved in a Life Group?
A church can be a lonely place unless relationships are made with others.  Groups within the church provide an environment where people can connect with others in friendship while pursuing spiritual transformation in their lives.  Life groups are a way of “doing life together,” sharing the joy and challenges of life with others.  God has created, in each one of us, a longing to know others and be known by them.  As we join in friendship with others, we take part in God’s design and plan for our lives.

What can I expect at a Life Group meeting?
Life Groups exist primarily to develop relationships among group members as they grow in their relationship with Christ. Each session typically consists of time spent getting to know each other better, discussing a key life issue, and sharing vital prayer concerns.  Each Life Group is encouraged to plan times for special social gatherings, such as sharing a meal, game night or serving as a team.

What are the various ways I can get involved in a Life Group?

Join an Existing Group.  Check out the current Hosts and Locations.

Launch a New Group!  Form a new group with your neighbors, co-workers, friends, family that have a common link or interest.

Meet and Greet with others at Friendship.  Develop a friendship and ask about attending their Life Group.
