IT’S YOUR TURN FOR CONTROL OF YOUR FINANCES

Five foundations for financial freedom

Rule #1

KEEP GOOD RECORDS

Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. Proverbs 23:5

Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding. Proverbs 23:23

Rule #2

PLAN CAREFULLY

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. Proverbs 21:5

but a foolish man devours all he has. Proverbs 21:20b

Rule #3

SAVE FOR THE FURURE

In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, Proverbs 21:20a

Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow. Proverbs 13:11

Rule #4

ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE

He who loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and oil will never be rich. Proverbs 21:17

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6-10

Rule #5

GIVE BACK TO GOD

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. Malachi 3:10

A generous man will himself be blessed, Proverbs 22:9
